Saturday, Sunday and midweek friendly matches which are primarily held during the winter season are designed to bring friendly competition between Barwell and other clubs in the county, surrounding counties and also, occasionally, touring teams. These matches are suitable for all calibre of players to take part in, the aim being to compete but also to enjoy the game. These fixtures take place both at home and away and usually include either a meal or tea and biscuits.
During the summer months a few friendly games are arranged at home between Barwell members and occasionally against nearby clubs.
If you would like to play in any of these games, signal your availability by adding your name to the relevant sheet on the notice board. The team captain will pick a team from these names before the game.
